Pre-market

Pre-market
Stewardship before products hit the shelves

The research and development of a new pesticide and its eventual placement on the market is a costly and time-consuming process. A typical product will see an investment of more than 200 million Euros and a decade of research, development and testing before it hits the shelves.

ECPA is active during the latter stages of the pre-market phase in industry-targeted stewardship activities that primarily aim to guide and streamline various standard activities in the pre-market phase ranging from the submission of product dossiers to the proper labelling of products.
