INSPIA: Spanish farmer Pedro on best management practices for sustainable productive agriculture

Pedro Maestre Leon is the twelfth generation of his family to farm the land in Alcala de Guadaira, in Seville; committed to balancing environmental protection with agricultural productivity, Pedro describes important management practices and his involvement with the INSPIA project.

The INSPIA project (European Index for Sustainable Productive Agriculture) demonstrates sustainable productive agriculture through the implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs) and the measurement and monitoring of a set of indicators.
