Regulatory Affairs Director
Euros has worked for the European Crop Protection Association (ECPA) since May 2001, and has held the post of Director, Regulatory Affairs since January 2006. Euros is Welsh and holds a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth. He has worked in Brussels since 1994,having previously worked as Deputy Director of the Brussels office of the UK National Farmers’ Unions, and as Secretary General of the European Council of Young farmers (CEJA). In his current post, Euros’ responsibilities include supporting ECPA’s advocacy on regulatory issues, with a particular focus on the implementation of the review programme under Directive 91/414/EEC, and the implementation of the new Regulation on the Placing of Plant Protection Products on the Market, which replaces Directive 91/414/EEC in 2009.
