Food Supply Forum 2009: Choices and implications

The event begins with keynote address by Professor John Beddington, Chief Scientific Adviser to the UK government.
Topic: Reconnecting science and policymaking in the EU.
Following Beddington’s remarks the debate will explore competing visions of food security: “Which modes of agriculture best meet the food supply challenge?” Discussion will be moderated by Neil Parish, Former Chairman of the European Parliament Agriculture Committee.
